At BerByKa, customer satisfaction is a priority.
Each Berber rug is carefully handcrafted using traditional know-how.
1. Withdrawal period
You have 14 days from the receipt of your rug to change your mind, without having to give any reason (Article L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code). If your order includes several rugs delivered separately, the period runs from the receipt of the last one.
2. How to let us know
Before this period ends, inform us of your decision:
- by e-mail to contact@berbyka.fr, stating your order number;
- or by post to: BerByKa, 4 Rue Achille Viadieu, 31400 Toulouse, France.
You may use the model withdrawal form (optional). We will confirm receipt of your request by e-mail.
3. Sending the rug back
- Send the rug back no later than 14 days after informing us of your decision, to the following address: BerByKa, 4 Rue Achille Viadieu, 31400 Toulouse, France.
- Roll it up and protect it carefully so that it is not damaged in transit, and include your order number.
- The return costs are borne by you, unless the rug is damaged or does not match your order (see point 6).
- You may of course unroll and examine the rug. Only a diminished value resulting from use beyond such examination (prolonged use, soiling, washing, etc.) may be charged to you.
4. Refund
- We refund all payments received, including the initial delivery costs. Only the additional cost of express delivery, if you chose it, is not refunded.
- The refund is made no later than 14 days after you have informed us of your decision. We may make it as soon as we receive the rug or as soon as you send us proof that it has been shipped.
- It is made using the same means of payment as for your purchase, free of charge.
5. Made-to-measure rugs
Rugs made to your specifications (dimensions, colours or patterns defined by you via the "Tailor-Made" page) are not eligible for withdrawal (Article L221-28(3) of the French Consumer Code). Catalogue rugs, including those made to order identically to a model shown on the website, do benefit from the right of withdrawal.
6. Damaged or non-conforming rug
If your rug arrives damaged or does not match your order, write to us as soon as possible at contact@berbyka.fr with a few photos (and, if the parcel is damaged, record reservations with the carrier). The return costs are then borne by us and we will exchange the rug or refund you, without prejudice to your legal warranties.
